An independent shop on Main Street since 2016

Battle Creek Diesel & Automotive is an owner-operated shop at 990 Main St in Battle Creek, just off i-194, exit 2.Joshua Davis has run it for 10 years.

The work splits between light-duty diesel trucks and everyday vehicles. Diesel is the specialty — Cummins, Ford, Duramax, Mercedes and Fiat engines — but the automotive half of the name is real, and gas engines, cars and SUVs go through the same bays.

There is no service advisor in the middle. You call the shop, describe what the vehicle is doing, and talk it through with the people who will have their hands on it.
